Rethink Afghanistan While There's Still Time
Being a patriot does not mean you have to want to kill hodgies. Being a patriot means defending America. Too often I think we forget that and want to render some kind of perverse revenge. I recently read a letter to the editor that said in effect that it is ok to torture because the people we are torturing are bad people.
Well, that is absurd. If we torture then we are the bad people and deserve to be tortured. What sets Americans apart from the bad people is our christian morals and unwillingness to act that way. Ever see the movie Bridge Over the River Kwai? ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050212/ ) The idea is that the Japanese bad guy tortured the British Good Guy they lost honor and the Brit gained resepct and honor, by enduring. Well now they have the honor and respect and we lose face.
People in IRAQ and AFGANASTAN aren't the bad guys. They are people just like you and me. (remember the little song, Jesus loves the litttle children - that means he gets mad when we kill them), they have no power. We don't kill the people with power, just the pawns. We need to turn the people away from the warlords and we will do that with ipods faster than with machine guys and bombs.
I am just saying....

I wouldn't want to ever face this weapon, and I wonder how long it will be before the policeman want to have this firepower. I don't trust cops they are generally ignorant and trained to be abusive. Abusive is effective.
Anyway, this weapon is inevitable, but I wish christians would recall the amory of David. How easily they forget the teachings of Christ and cheer the mutilation of this type of weapon upon the guilty and the innocent.
The patent owner speaks of clearing out an entire room in 4 seconds, that means the bad guy, the bad guys kids, wife, the dog and any other poor dead soul that happen to be in frag range. NOT how John Wayne would have done it - EH?

Lufthansa A320-DAIQP aborted landing in a crosswind at Hamburg, Germany
There should have been a secondary runway to accommodate the seasonal wind conditions that this video illustrates. Attempting to land on a CAT-2 runway under this strong crosswind situation could have resulted in a disastrous accident.

A Must Hear National Anthem...
This is simply the best I have ever heard. These American Angels raised the bar from ow on. They did such a heart warming rendition flawlessly.
This was at a Texas Tech University Basketball game -
The National Anthem is sung by five little girls.

The entire arena remains completely silent throughout the song.

Gin the Dancing Doggie
This video is of a dancing dog. I am sending this and blogging it because I have a border collie. Her name is Twill (a type of weave) and she is 8 months old. She is a very smart and high energy dog. She is the most athletic and eager dog I have known. All I can say is DON'T get a border collie unless you have a lot of room and energy.
